My Remote Agency was originally created for the small to medium agency who may not have enough bookkeeping activity to warrant a fulltime bookkeeper. As it turns out too, large agencies have brought us on to pick up overflow or to catch up before year end. Agents who have experienced large growth of business or a loss of employee(s) have found us to be lifesavers that keep the wheels turning.

All of us at My Remote Agency have worked in the industry for a number of years and are trained insurance specialists, making our company stand out from the rest. We are empathetic to the individual needs of each client and the pressures that are piled onto the owners, producers, and CSRs. On the other hand, we also know the joy of becoming streamlined, efficient, and paperless — it allows us to spend time on the items that make our jobs really count. Jennifer Burrows
Owner & Founder
Jennifer comes to you from an extensive insurance background. Being a former agency principle allows her to understand what you need, insurance agent to insurance agent. Since 1998, she has witnessed and experienced the everyday issues and hurdles that make owning and managing an agency so frustrating. For the past six years, her team has helped numerous agencies with bookkeeping services — from the simplest to the most complex issues. Jennifer has also helped agencies through a conversion to a new system and now strives to make that process as easy as possible for every client.
Matt Hulcher
Agency Management Consultant
Matt is a veteran in the insurance industry. As a former agency owner, CPCU, and conference speaker, he has a tremendous amount of knowledge when it comes to what works well in an agency. Matt is also a marketing specialist and is part of why NOVA is such a great software that helps you gain and retain insureds.
Rose Martin
Rose brings over 10 years of experience in insurance specific accounting and other assorted industries, supporting financial operations with accuracy and consistency. She works extensively with AMS360, QuickBooks, Excel, and other industry-based accounting systems to ensure reliable reporting and smooth day-to-day operations. She holds two degrees, one in International Business and one in Project Management.
Sarah Kennedy
Sarah is an experienced bookkeeper with a strong background in both accounting and business operations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.With two years of insurance-specific accounting experience and work across multiple industries, Sarah brings adaptability, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of complex financial workflows. She enjoys tackling challenges and is known for seeing tasks through carefully and thoroughly.A mother of four, Sarah values organization, reliability, and clear communication — and brings that same dedication to every client she supports.
Sharon Turner
Sharon has over 40 years of experience in various aspects of accounting in both large and small companies. She was a part-owner of a small custom software company for 20 years, where she was in charge of all areas of accounting and HR. She also handled Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable at larger firms, as well as an HR generalist, in charge of payroll, employee benefits, and company events. Other experiences include web design and manager of computer operations at a bank.
